Aspects

In addition to the usual five Aspects your character possesses (High Concept (page 38), Trouble Aspect (page 40), and The Phase Trio (Page 44)) your character will have one additional Morph Aspect depending on which Morph they are sleeved into. Their choice of Morph also decides their Morph Skills.

  • Flat
    • Aspect: "100% pure, old fashioned, home-grown human"
    • Aspect: Dying breed
    • Morph skills: +3, +2, +1, +1, +1
  • Splicer
    • Aspect: Genefixed
    • Morph skills: +3, +2, +2, +1, +1
    • Stunt: Immune (Physique). The character is immune to common or weak poisons, and gets a +2 to their Physique roll to resist uncommon or strong poisons.
  • Exalt
    • Aspect: Genetically-enhanced
    • Morph skills: +3, +3, +2, +1, +1
  • Menton
    • Aspect: Calculating mind
    • Morph skills: +3, +2, +2, +1, +1
    • Stunt: Instant Recall (Research). The character does not take any penalty to their Research roll when they are unable to connect to the Mesh.
  • Olympian
    • Aspect: Gold-medal winner
    • Morph skills: +4 Athletics, +3, +2, +1, +1
  • Sylph
    • Aspect: Striking looks
    • Morph skills: +3, +2, +2, +1, +1
    • Stunt: Pheromone Receptors (Empathy). At the beginning of a social conflict, the character may spend a Fate point and get an accurate read on the surface mood and other social cues of one target.
  • Bouncer
    • Aspect: Strong grip
    • Morph skills: +3, +2, +2, +1, +1
    • Stunt: Born and raised in Zero-G (Athletics). +2 to create Advantages with Athletics if you are in a micro- or zero-gravity environment.
  • Fury

    • Stunt: Sleep is for the weak (Physique). +2 to resisting the effects of exhaustion or sleep-deprivation with Physique. Furthermore, the character really only needs 1-2 hours of sleep each night.

  • Remade
    • Aspect: Eerie perfection

  • Ruster
    • Aspect: Rough planet, rough person

    • Stunt: Hardy Colonist (Physique). +2 to resisting the deleterious effects of hazardous atmospheres, including airborne poisons and hard vacuum. Immune to the atmosphere of Mars.

Skills

Characters start with several Ego Skills that are tied to their Ego and thus move from morph to morph. Each character has one Ego Skill rated at Great (+4), two at Good (+3), two at Fair (+2), and four at Average (+1). The remainder of a character's skills come from their choice of morph.
